To increase the catamaran stability in the
gliding mode we have use the transverse arrow-shaped steps. This
divides the basic surfaces into four points of support:
Hydrodynamical
advantages:
- fast coming to the gliding mode
- no porpoising
- excellent fore-and-aft stability
- no need of transom plates
- on choppy seas the impacts are absorbed by the tunnel air
cushion
- the hull is designed for steady movement at a speed up to
40 knots, if the most powerful engine permitted (70 h.p.) is
used (speed with only the driver onboard will be about 30
knots)
